i kno everyone loves to reinforce the idea that jesse’s just a kid at seventeen and onward but chances are he’d deeply resent being reduced to his age given the fact he had to grow up at an alarming pace and was forced to come to terms with how dark and grim and violent the world is and how matching the world for those qualities is sometimes the easiest way to survive but not at all the best way to live
